# Movie Review: Fire of Love

[Fire of Love](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_of_Love_(2022_film)), by [Sara Sora](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sara_Dosa), is one of the best documentaries I've seen in a while. It tells the story of [Katia and Maurice Krafft](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katia_and_Maurice_Krafft), two French volcanists who travel the world seeking to understand how volcanoes work. The film is narrated and features footage shot by Katia and Maurice along with a few clips from interviews.

I don't have great words to describe why, but it was overall a really enjoyable movie that inspires me to dig deep into things that interest me no matter what others say. The film also talks a lot about how the couple heavily depended on each other and wouldn't be able to do their work alone. It makes me wonder what other duos had a big impact on the world together.
